At Dessert Designs, we price cakes according to the size and difficulty of decorating. Because of fixed costs, the "price per serving" is on a sliding scale so that smaller cakes are a higher cost per serving and larger cakes are less per serving.

Included in the price is the delivery and set up, choice of flavor, or flavor combinations, optional fillings, and separations between tiers (columns). The price does not include any fresh flowers.

As listed on this website, the various difficulty levels are represented by the letters A thru D, with A being the least expensive and D being the most. These levels are not rigid. During the planning process, each bride may want to tweak the design to individualize it and therefore affect the price up or down.

Piece serving size is height of cake 4 - 4.5 inches, by 2 inches by 1 inch.

We have chosen several designs to illustrate these pricings.  Cost as pictured, variations are available. Fresh flowers are not included in cost.

 

A - 123
White Chocolate Curls Cake. 4 tiers, servers 150. Cost - $865.00 + tax.
A - 406
Vine pattern with floral topper. 3 tiers, serves 100. Cost - $690.00 + tax.
B - 112
Mixed patterns with sash bow and loop bow topper. 4 tiers, serves 175. Cost - $965.00 + tax.
B - 707
Delicate pink flowers on blue dots. 2 tiers, serves 50. Cost - $525 + tax. If substituting fresh flowers - $475 + tax.
